1.
Dying with Jesus, by death reckoned mine Living with Jesus, a new life divine Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine Never a trial that He is not there Never a burden that He doesn't bear Never a sorrow that He doesn't share Moment by moment, I’m under His care Moment by moment I’m kept in His love Moment by moment I’ve life from above Looking to Jesus till glory does shine Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine Never a weakness that He does not feel Never a sickness that He cannot heal Moment by moment, in woe or in weal Jesus my Savior abides with me still
2.
The King of love my shepherd is, His goodness faileth never. I nothing lack if I am his, and He is mine forever. Where do the streams of water flow? Where e're my soul He leadeth. And where do the verdant pastures grow? That's where my shepherd feedeth. Perverse and foolish, oft I strayed, but yet in love he sought me, and on his shoulder gently laid, and home, rejoicing, brought me!
3.
How sweet the name of Jesus sounds in the believer's ear! It soothes his sorrows, heals his wounds, and drives away his fear. It makes the wounded spirit whole and calms the troubled breast; It's manna to the hungry soul, and to the weary, rest. Dear Name, the rock on which I build, My shield and hiding place, My never failing treasury, filled With boundless stores of grace! Weak is the effort of my heart, And cold my warmest thought; But when I see You as You are, I’ll praise You as I ought. By You my prayers acceptance gain, Although with sin defiled; Satan accuses me in vain, For I am Your own child. Jesus, my shepherd, husband, friend, my Prophet, Priest, and King, my Lord, my Life, my Way, my End, accept the praise I bring.
4.
Jesus, keep me near the cross, There a precious fountain, Free to all, a healing stream, Flows from Calv'ry's mountain. Near the cross, a trembling soul, Love and mercy found me; There the Bright and Morning Star Shed His beams around me. Near the cross! O lamb of God, Bring its scenes before me; Help me walk from day to day With its mercy o'er me. Near the cross! I'll watch and wait, Hoping, trusting ever; Till I see Your glorious face, And live with You forever. In the cross, Be my glory ever!

about

Just as all hymns were written to fold the truths of the gospel into our daily lives, this album represents a folding of these songs into my own life.

Each one was written during a time of prayer, devotion or seeking the Lord, when I came to my hymnal for truths I could sing to my own soul. They were practiced and polished little by little, and slowly over the last two years they were recorded.

So now, here they are! Written for believers and music lovers alike. The texts are for the generations to remember and recite the glories of Jesus who is coming soon. The music is my soul's response to them. May they help to turn your thoughts Godward just as they did for many that came before us.
